Based on courses I completed through my sophomore year, I planned to
finish high school on the regular schedule as a Dual Enrollment student.
A Georgia law (HB444) passed at the end of my sophomore year meant that
less than one remaining year of my Dual Enrollment classes would be
funded.
I realized that I had sufficient credit to graduate by the end of my
third year of high school, so I coordinated with my high school to
graduate early instead of continuing with AP classes or unfunded Dual
Enrollment.
