I am a senior at Centennial High School, dual enrolled at Georgia Tech.
I am hoping for an internship in computer programming or administration.

I enjoy working on software because I really enjoy solving problems and
adding value in rapidly changing, complex systems.
I want to learn how to contribute meaningfully to a software team.
During my academic career, I have taken the AP Computer Science course
and several mathematics classes to help prepare me to think in various
frameworks about solving problems.
I have also programmed recreationally, working on small personal
projects to familiarize myself with the basic tools (e.g. languages,
debuggers) and automate some small processes.
For example, I've written a small Perl script to handle web queries
and generate PDFs for award pieces and room locations for a Model UN
conference, which required me to create the script, test it, and deploy
it on a Linux server that I administer.
These experiences have prepared me with the basic knowledge and skills
to understand and work with the technologies, but I still have much to
learn.
I'm very interested in contributing to and learning from your company.
I hope to have the chance to work with you on this exciting opportunity.
